Blue Notebook Apps ("we," "our," or "us") operates the EatWell and StockWell mobile applications. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our apps.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our apps are designed with a privacy-first approach.

Information We Collect

Data Stored on Your Device (Free Versions)

Both EatWell and StockWell (free version) store all user data locally on your device. This includes:

• EatWell: Meal logs, weight, sleep, energy levels, symptom records, daily notes, lab results, and diet preferences.
• StockWell: Food inventory data, household item lists, weekly shopping plans, budget settings, and reserve targets.

This data is stored using your device's local storage and is not transmitted to our servers or any third party.

StockWell Pro (Cloud Features)

If you upgrade to StockWell Pro, the following data is collected and stored on our cloud servers:

• Account information: Your email address and encrypted password, used for authentication.
• Household data: Household name, size, pet information, reserve targets, budget settings, items, inventory quantities, and weekly plans.

This data is stored securely and is used solely to provide cloud sync, multi-device access, and household sharing features.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or have access to:

• Location data
• Usage analytics or tracking data
• Advertising identifiers
• Payment information (handled by Apple and Google)

AI-Powered Features

AI Coach (EatWell)

EatWell includes an AI Coach feature that provides dietary feedback based on your logged data. When you use this feature, your diet logs and lab data may be sent to a third-party AI service to generate personalized recommendations. This data is used solely for generating your coaching feedback and is not stored by the AI service beyond the immediate request.

Receipt Scanning (StockWell Pro)

StockWell Pro includes a receipt scanning feature. When you use this feature, a photo of your grocery receipt is sent to a third-party AI service for processing. The image is used only to extract item names, quantities, and prices to update your inventory. Receipt images are not stored by us or by the third-party service after processing is complete.

Third-Party Services

Our apps do not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or social media integrations. We do not share your data with any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

In-App Purchases

StockWell Pro subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play. We do not collect or store your payment information. All billing is handled by Apple or Google under their respective privacy policies.

Data Security

For locally stored data, your information is protected by your device's built-in security features, including device passcode, biometric authentication, and encryption.

For StockWell Pro cloud data, we use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and row-level security policies to ensure users can only access their own household data.

Data Deletion

You can delete your data at any time:

• Free versions: Delete the app to remove all local data.
• StockWell Pro: Contact us at the email below to request deletion of your cloud account and all associated data.

Children's Privacy

Our apps are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
